Teen Table Talk Teen Table Talk girls group is intended to provide a safe place for teen girls to talk with peers dealing with similar issues with the guidance of a qualified Licensed Mental Health Counselor and an adult facilitator. This group meets to discuss issues that are going on in teen girls’ lives. These may be things like grief, depression, anger, or could be prompted by issues with relationships or decision-making. In this group, girls will also learn life skills that will help them deal with stress, relationships, challenges, school and so much more.

A note from Empowered Girls of North Carolina: Empowered Girls of North Carolina provides programs that will enhance the quality of girls’ lives by building integrity, respect and self-worth. We serve girls ages 6 through 18 by providing life-changing programs in the areas of STEAM, Leadership and Financial Literacy. Our website is www.empoweredgirlsnc.org. Our main goal is to provide the tools that will help young girls to become empowered, successful young women. Our Annual High Tea and Silent Auction is our marquee event, which attracted over 100 attendees in 2019. The High Tea started because we needed to find a way to engage people, promote our organization and our all too important programs to the community. Our first was held in 2014. Since then, it has helped to grow our supporter and donor interest.
